A public conversation

Feature requests, comments, public names, maintainer decisions, and release links are visible to everyone. Write about the improvement you need; do not post passwords, authentication codes, private contact details, or unfiltered logs. Keep discussions constructive and relevant to Mactician. Spam or abusive posts may be hidden, and posting access may be suspended.

Your Google account and public name

Google provides a stable account identifier and a verified email address when you sign in. The board uses these to create your account and secure access. You choose a public display name before your first post. Your email address and Google identifier are not displayed publicly. Google access and refresh tokens are not retained, and this sign-in does not give Mactician access to Gmail, Drive, or other Google services.

Votes, follows, and updates

Your account can cast one vote per request. Votes are displayed as a total; voter email addresses and identities are not published. Following a request adds status changes and maintainer replies to My updates. The board does not send notification emails. You can remove your vote or unfollow a request at any time.

Cookies, drafts, and service operation

The board uses a necessary, protected session cookie that expires after 30 days and a short-lived cookie for the Google sign-in flow. Signing out invalidates your current session. The browser keeps unsent request and comment drafts in session storage so a sign-in redirect does not discard your writing. Closing the browser tab ends that storage session.

The service stores board data on the server that hosts sergeinaumov.dev. It uses temporary IP-based request limits to protect availability; the feedback API does not log request bodies, authentication codes, cookies, or IP addresses. Server backups are retained for 14 days. Feedback accounts are separate from the launcher’s telemetry and are not linked to installations or game sessions.

Deleting your account

You can delete your feedback account from Your public profile. This removes your Google account association, email, display name, sessions, votes, and follows from the live database. Existing requests, comments, and discussion history remain attributed to Deleted account. Their text is not automatically removed or scrubbed of details you included yourself; contact Sergei if a post contains personal information that needs removal. Deleted account data can remain in restricted backups until those backups expire, within 14 days.
